Well…I HAVE seen it! You know me, I won’t post any spoilers. I will say, though, that I’m pretty much happy with the whole movie. There are bits that were harder to sit through on second and third viewings than other bits were. And I have a couple of little niggly things that I wish they’d done differently (little story things, mainly) or explained better. But overall, its very well done.
Since the very first issue of X-Men I bought (Issue 100 many many moons ago), Nightcrawler has been my absolute favourite character. I’m very pleased to say that they did a fantastic job portraying him on screen–not just the acrobatics, his movements, and his teleportation, but the way the character was written and acted. Absolutely spot on. I can’t imagine it being done any better.
And damn Colossus looks HOT! I hope he’s in the next movie a bit more!
All-in-all, an extremely good movie. Great plotline, good character continuation from the first movie, great hints about what’s coming up in the second movie…you just about can’t ask for more!
